Long time DubbHeads will remember that we originally put this rag-tag grassroots organization together to support Doug MacLeod in his Blues Music Award nominations a few years back. (You can learn more about that on our about page).

Well, we have some great (but not entirely unexpected) news! Ol' Dubb has been nominated for a 2008 Blues Music Award as ACOUSTIC ARTIST OF THE YEAR!!

If you're a fan of Doug's music, we encourage you to head over to the Blues Foundation web site and cast your vote. If you're not a member of the Blues Foundation, you certainly should be. Membership is just $25 and the money goes to a very good cause.

So join up... and VOTE FOR DUBB!!! Remember, the deadline is February 29th. Tell your friends! Let's show the world how much Dubb means to us. As we used to say in Chicago,"Vote Early and Vote Often!"

In other breaking news, the DubbHeads web site is taking on a new look in early 2008. The new DubbHeads will be Blog-based, which we hope will encourage active participation by DubbHeads worldwide.
